Cookies and similar technologies

Cookie Policy

Transparent information about browser technologies used on our pages and by service providers.

Last updated: 20 August 2026

Scope of this policy

This policy explains cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies that may be used when you visit Club de Receitas de Confeitaria pages. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small text file stored by a website in a browser. Local storage is a separate browser feature that can retain a value on the device. These technologies can be first-party, set by our domain, or third-party, set by a service embedded in or reached from the site.

Language preference

Our institutional pages use local storage to remember the language you manually select. The key is used only to load the preferred version of the page on future visits. If no saved choice is available, the page can consider the language parameter in the URL and the browser language, with English as the fallback.

This preference is functional and does not by itself identify your payment card or create a customer profile for advertising. You can remove it by clearing site data in your browser.

Strictly necessary and functional technologies

The site or its hosting environment may use technologies necessary to deliver a requested page, maintain security, balance traffic, preserve a session or operate a purchase and access flow. Disabling them can prevent parts of the site, checkout or digital access from working.

We do not label a technology as strictly necessary merely to avoid a valid consent requirement. Its classification depends on its actual purpose.

Stripe payment technologies

When a Stripe payment interface is loaded or you are redirected to a Stripe-hosted page, Stripe may use cookies, device information and similar technologies for payment processing, fraud prevention, security and service operation. Stripe determines and explains certain processing under its own privacy and cookie information.

Mentioning Stripe describes the payment infrastructure only. Stripe does not own, endorse, recommend or certify Club de Receitas de Confeitaria.

Analytics and advertising

We do not claim in this policy that a specific analytics or advertising provider is active unless it is actually implemented. If non-essential analytics, personalization or advertising technologies are added, the information and consent controls should be updated before or when required by applicable law.

Third-party links can lead to separate sites with their own cookies. We do not control technologies used solely on those external websites.

Legal bases and consent

Depending on the jurisdiction and purpose, a technology may be used because it is necessary to provide a requested service, based on legitimate interests where permitted, or after consent. Non-essential cookies should not be placed before valid consent where applicable law requires prior consent.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.

Your browser controls

Most browsers allow you to view, block or delete cookies and local storage through privacy or site-data settings. Blocking all storage can affect language selection, checkout, login or access functionality.

Controls for third-party payment technologies may also be available through the provider or browser. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not uniformly interpreted; we respond to legally recognized preference signals where required and technically applicable.

Retention

A browser technology remains for the period defined by its purpose or until deleted. Session technologies generally expire when the session ends, while a saved language preference can persist until you change it, remove site data or the browser removes it.

Service providers determine the retention of their own technologies under their policies and applicable contracts.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when technologies, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version.
